MANCHESTER YOUTH ARTS PROJECTS
CREATIVE CITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
We run creative youth projects that help you feel good, express yourself and gain new skills.
We love it when young people use their voices to challenge injustices and improve their communities, so we try to help you celebrate your leadership potential too.
CURRENT YOUTH PROJECTS
We aren't currently opening our projects to new young people due to coronavirus limitations on numbers and because we have a smaller staff team than usual at the moment.
Our current youth projects are:
Sketchbook Club in Gorton, Abbey Hey and Rusholme.
Supporting youth-led activities in Bolton
PAST YOUTH PROJECTS
We've run loads of amazing youth projects over the past few years. For example:
Community Slice: young people deciding how local budgets should be spent
Gorton Summer School: Art, Breakdance and DJing with DJ Khanfu and Breakdance Manchester
Supporting young people to run their own events and festivals: for example Culture Feast, Creative Community Open Mic Nights and Rhythmshawe in partnership with Manchester Libraries.
Bolton Art Trail: young people worked with an artist to create a trail around their local area celebrating their role models.
