Creative City helps bring live music events to Manchester Libraries
Updated: Apr 23
Music and sound take over three Manchester Libraries in January and February 2019, creating a platform for young people who will work alongside some of the City's most exciting up-and-coming artists!
Working in partnership with Brighter Sound, Manchester Libraries and three brilliant youth groups, we are delighted to help welcome ‘Make Noise’ to Wythenshawe Forum Library, Longsight Library, and North City Library in Harpurhey.
Make Noise is a series of events bringing live music to local libraries across Manchester. This project is part of Both Sides Now – Brighter Sound’s three-year programme to support, inspire and showcase women in music across the North of England.
This collaboration forms part of the 'Creative Spaces' project that sees these three Manchester Libraries become places where local residents can watch, hear, experience and create amazing artistic experiences, right on their doorstep! Creative City is helping the 'Creative Spaces' project come to life. For 'Make Noise', Creative City has helped connect and coordinate Brighter Sound, branch Libraries and three brilliant youth groups from the three areas.
