Youth arts activities with Creative City

Join Creative City for a range of arts activities for ages 11-16.

 

Try painting, using clay, drama games, crafts and more. Led by a range of Manchester artists and youth workers, there will be new creative challenges to try each day. 

 

An unmissable opportunity this Summer Holiday, right on your doorstep!

Session dates are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3rd to 25th Aug.

Each day is 11am – 3pm.

Free! Lunch is provided. 

Booking is essential!

SESSION ACTIVITIES:

Each session will be a range of exciting arts activities mixed with games and good times! 

These are our plans (last minute changes are possible): 

3rd Aug – Fabric dying and design, and portrait painting on acetate

4th Aug – Decorating picture frames, rock painting and geometric colour art


10th Aug – Upcycling denim, beaded keyrings and magnet figure making


11th Aug – Found poetry art, African doll making and plant pot marbling


17th Aug – Mandala art, and making with clay


18th Aug – Macrame key rings, zine making, and squeegee postcard design


24th Aug – Comic strip and character illustration, and mono-printing


25th Aug – Portrait painting on cardboard, drawing games and wire sculpture
